Over the past five years a considerable amount of resources were allocated to internally developing a system for our group. This distracted us from our focus and created untold frustration for all its users, and did not deliver the expected outcomes. After a thorough external investigation I have decided to detonate the user unfriendly "NUCLEI Bomb" in a controlled manner that will not affect you or your environment.
I have recently visited all the regions and informed them that I, together with my Management, want Chas Everitt to deliver on its Mission and Vision, to ensure we remain a dynamic leading real estate organization. I, therefore, have the great pleasure to announce that we will be outsourcing all our business systems to Cyberagent and all our email support and connectivity requirements to Dissident Distribution. I look forward to this exciting progress and would like to share the road ahead, as far as the transition of this decision impacts on each one of us.
Technology has become an integral part of Chas Everitt Real Estate operations. Chas Everitt agents and offices, using a User friendly tool like Chas Everitt CyberAgent, gain the advantages of utilising the latest technology to benefit their businesses. By now you are all aware of the fact that we will be installing/activating our Chas Everitt CyberAgent applications at your offices.
Chas Everitt CyberAgent is a total office management system, comprising all aspects involved in a real estate office. It currently consists of 12 different modules - from property management to canvass management. Chas Everitt CyberAgent also makes provision for the listing of rental properties.
Full training will be given on the various modules.
Short overview of the different applications
Chas Everitt CyberAgent Lite (CECAL) is the desktop (offline) version and Chas Everitt CyberAgent Anywhere (CECAA) is the web based (online) version.
CECAL is a very comprehensive application that allows for ample reporting. The system will be installed on your network or the computer of the admin person. The whole office will have access to the system. You only need access to the Internet when you upload your properties. All 12 modules are available in CAL.
CECAA has incorporated the most commonly used functions of the Chas Everitt CyberAgent package into an online application. It is extremely helpful for agents and agencies who want to manage and list their data from any platform with an Internet connection. This is possible anywhere and anytime and is great for Franchisees who want to see what is happening in their office or group of offices. Working on a workstation, on a laptop or on a PDA, this one is for you!
Website - Included with Chas Everitt CyberAgent is a powerful website interface, whereby Franchisees can update active properties to their own customized websites, other generic websites (e.g. www.cyberprop.com) and our main group website, www.ChasEveritt.co.za, at the click of a button.

Office management: 12 modules
1. Agent Manager
The “Agent Manager” enables you to manage your agents, linking them automatically throughout the Chas Everitt CyberAgent application. It also allows for photos of the agents.

Maintains a database of all the clients (buyers & sellers)

10. New Developments Module
Provides the facility to effortlessly update all aspects of New Developments to the different Websites including your own Website and includes main picture, site plans, floor plans, artist impressions, price lists, creating of units and much more.
11. Chas Everitt Franchising:
We have designed and developed a report facility for our service Centre. These reports are there to assist the Franchisor in day to day reporting from the Franchisee. Both the Franchisor and Franchisee must be Chas Everitt CyberAgent users.
12. Advert generator
This module allows users to create their own adverts e.g. newspaper adverts, single ads and various others. This has an easy to use interface with various preset templates available and allows for multiple selected properties to be used to generate a single advert. This module is available to all our desktop (CECAL) users at NO extra cost.

SMS Customer Service
This functionality enables a potential buyer to retrieve information about a property, the selling agent and the agency via the SMS service.
The unique property/internet number which is generated by the server can be advertised on the selling agent’s press adverts and For Sale Boards. By sending this number to our server on 35476, the potential buyer will receive the information on return SMS.
The agent in turn will receive information regarding the potential buyer, and can contact them if they wish.
While this service’s market value is in the region of R700-00 setup costs and R200-00 monthly per agent, Chas Everitt International Property Group franchisees will get this service as part of Chas Everitt CyberAgent at no additional cost.
Short overview of the roll-out process
Chas Everitt CyberAgent will be entering into an agreement directly with all the Franchisees. These will be completed when we visit your offices for the installation and training. You will be contacted regarding the installation and training process as well as a date and time that we will be in your area within the next few days. Installation and training will start on Monday 19 July 2010.
Just like you, we would like this process to be as smooth as possible but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all will be working 100% as from day one. What we can guarantee is that right from installation you would be able to load a listing and have it displayed on all of the affiliated websites by clicking one button. You will also be able to draw reports for buyers/sellers etc. Thus, the basic functionality will be there.
As for the advert module, we will start with the basic templates and will be adding as we go along.
Nuclei data:
Our developers are currently busy writing an application that will “import” the Nuclei data into the Chas Everitt CyberAgent application. The following data will be imported:
Agent information
Contact information (buyers and sellers)
Property information with pictures
No sale data will be imported
We cannot guarantee 100% success but will do our utmost to get close to it. The import of data should be finalized by the end of this week and that is the reason why we are starting the roll out process from Monday 19 July 2010.

Basic beginners training will be given with the first session. Thereafter we will be giving group training sessions for a further 3 months. You will receive a beginner and an advanced training manual together with a CD with the CECAL application, a product overview with the various affiliated websites and the various documentation. Please keep this CD in a safe place for future use.
