New Real Estate Industry Body Formed
In today’s technology-driven era, electronic business solutions continue to replace historically manual systems and processes. These solutions have helped many industries to speed up their operations, drive overall efficiency, and provide better value offerings to their customers.
REASA (Real Estate Agencies of South Africa) is a newly formed industry body tasked with forging a path for the real estate industry of South Africa as it transitions into the digital era. REASA aims to improve efficiency in the real estate sector through the innovative application of technological solutions and serves to protect the interests of its members and the real estate industry as a whole by providing cost-effective and powerful online marketing channels for its members.
In order to make this possible, REASA has appointed Property24.com as its technology and media partner. Property24.com is a leading platform in online property marketing. The recently expanded property portal sees over 620,000 monthly unique visitors across Property24.com and the newly acquired SAHometraders websites, and, according to the DMMA, generates more than 15 million page views per month.
“Property24.com is incredibly excited about the potential that advanced technology brings to the property industry, the value that it allows all stakeholders to offer to their clients and ultimately the increased speed at which a property transaction can take place,” said JP Farinha, General Manager ofProperty24.com. “The real estate group has appointed Property24.com to bring world-class online expertise and support to REASA, ensuring the success of future initiatives.”
REASA has been formed for the benefit of all registered estate agents from small offices to large national players and already enjoys the support of the following early adopters (in alphabetical order): AÏDA, Chas Everitt International Property Group, Engel & Völkers, ERA, Fine & Country South Africa, Harcourts, Huizemark, Jawitz Properties, Just Property Group, Maxprop, Pam Golding Properties, PROprop, RE/MAX Umhlanga Rocks, Ron Durbach Properties, Seeff Property Group, Tyson Properties and Wakefields Estate Agents.
A REASA/Property24.com task team is currently engaging with estate agents throughout South Africa and will contact all registered agencies across the country in due course.
