The following thoughts spring to mind:
1/ Shaun was kind, empathetic and listened to our brief.
2/ His knowledge of the village and surrounds was exemplary, and this was very helpful to us,
3/ I am of the firm belief that Shaun is honest, and upstanding, and I would recommend him to my friends without any hesitation.
4/ I have dealt with many agents, and have to say that Shaun’s personality was pleasant and pleasing, without the brashness that often accompanies successful estate agents.
5/ I found his local spirit, was in line with what I have come to believe is the McGregor Village spirit, and Shaun seems to join in and promote local attractions well, and we will be depending on this info for our assimilation into village life.
6/ We had a VERY successful build, and were led by Shaun’s fair evaluation of the service providers there. His reading of the budget we would need to build was spot on, and so we had few unwelcome surprises. This is very unusual with agents tending to under estimate costs of building and so on, but Shaun gave us a fair assessment.”
I would like to thank Chas Everitt and Shaun for his help and good after sales service.
It is not impossible that we may sell our cottage if we get a sensible offer, and then we would definitely be calling on Shaun to assist both with the selling of the cottage and with the purchase of a new property there.

My interaction with Shaun at Chas Everitt McGregor was limited to our dealings, after the signing of the offer to purchase of a property, from an agent who had since left the village.
So for this reason, I really appreciated Shaun's interventions in what proved to be a fairly complex transaction, which at one time appeared to be going off the rails. He was completely upfront about the complexity involved and I knew exactly what I had gotten into. All was eventually sorted and the transfer was tied up.
Shaun knows the village really well and has offered to help with a host of services which I may require. I would have absolutely no compunction about using him again.

As a property owner who does not reside in McGregor, I have had to rely heavily on Shaun from the time I purchased the home, and thereafter through the renovating phases, and I am pleased to be able to say that he has been a tremendous support at all stages.
Shaun has become an expert on the village and not only does he go out of his way to integrate the locals with new-comers but he is also the source of necessary contacts in the village, from gardeners to vineyard specialists.
